Dynamo 12V Voltage Regulator 16 AMP Negative Earth Screw Terminal Replaces Lucas RF95 From the outside, the same as your old Lucas unit. That's what counts, but that's where the comparison stops. Under that lid is not 82 year old inferior technology. What you'll find under the lid of a Remax Voltage Regulator is our latest Solid State, surface mount technology that's well protected against faults and fully fuse protected. This fuse not only protects the regulator, but also the dynamo in the event of overloading or short circuit. It's also protected against reverse polarity if you were to connect the battery back to front. It happens! All these parts are made in England The terminals and screws are all nickel plated. The base and lid is made from high temperature resistant plastic that can withstand under bonnet temperatures. The lid clip is smooth galvanised spring steel. It won't rust. The heat sink is made of high grade pure aluminium. This takes away the tiny bit of heat produced by the Voltage Regulator to keep its components cool and ensure a long, reliable life. Used on many British cars from 1939-1955 including : Alvis all models 1946-48 Armstrong Siddeley, Hurricane, Lancaster 46-48, Typhoon 1948 Austin 10 & 12 46-47, 16 46-48 Citroen (Slough built models) 46-55, 15 46-50; Commer, Daimler, Hillman, HRG, Humber, Jaguar, Jensen, Karrier, Lanchester, Lea Francis, MG, Morgan, Morris, Reliant, Riley, Singer, Standard, Sunbeam Talbot, Triumph, Trojan, Vauxhall and Wolseley. Most cars that used an RF95 were positive earth but please check to see if your car has been converted to negative earth as many were by previous owners.
