Soudal Trade Decorators Caulk Fast-Drying, Paintable Acrylic Sealant for Interior Gaps and Cracks Soudal Trade Decorators Caulk is a high-quality, fast-drying acrylic sealant designed for sealing interior gaps and cracks around skirting boards, door frames, window sills, ceilings, and plasterboard. It can be overpainted with most water-based and synthetic paints within a short drying time, making it ideal for decorators and finishers. The smooth finish and excellent adhesion ensure a professional result every time. Key Features & Benefits Fast Drying: Can be overpainted in as little as 15 minutes depending on conditions. Excellent Flexibility: Resists cracking due to minor movement in joints and substrates. Smooth Application: Easy to gun and tool for neat interior finishing. Adheres to Most Surfaces: Excellent grip on plaster, brick, concrete, wood, and primed metals. Low Shrinkage: Maintains its shape and performance as it cures. Product Details Type: Acrylic polymer sealant Colour: White Packaging: 300ml cartridge Skin Time: Approx. 5–10 minutes Paintable: After approx. 15–60 minutes (dependent on bead size and conditions) Application Temperature: +5°C to +40°C Application Instructions Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are dry, clean, and free from dust, grease, and loose material. Application: Cut nozzle to desired size, insert into standard sealant gun, and apply in a continuous bead. Smoothing: Tool the bead with a wet spatula or finger before skin forms for a smooth finish. Painting: Allow to skin and dry before overpainting. Always test paint compatibility beforehand. Limitations Not suitable for areas subject to constant water exposure or movement beyond ±10%. Do not apply in exterior or wet conditions. Health & Safety Low VOC and water-based. Avoid prolonged skin contact and use standard PPE during application.
