Mould-Resistant Silicone Sealant for Sanitary Applications Soudal Trade Bathroom and Kitchen Silicone is a high-performance, acetoxy cure silicone sealant specifically developed for sanitary environments such as bathrooms, kitchens, showers, and utility areas. It contains powerful fungicides to prevent mould growth and provides a long-lasting, waterproof seal on a variety of non-porous surfaces including ceramic, porcelain, glass, and enamel. Key Features & Benefits Mould-Resistant: Formulated with fungicides to inhibit mould and mildew formation in humid areas. Waterproof & Durable: Provides a long-lasting seal resistant to steam, moisture, and cleaning products. Excellent Adhesion: Bonds well to tiles, glass, acrylic, enamel, and other smooth sanitary substrates. Smooth Finish: Easy to apply and tool for a clean, professional result in bathrooms and kitchens. Interior Use: Specially designed for indoor wet room environments with minimal shrinkage and excellent elasticity. Product Details Type: Acetoxy cure silicone Colour: White (other colours may be available) Packaging: 300ml cartridge Skin Time: Approx. 10 minutes Full Cure: 24 hours depending on conditions and joint depth Movement Capability: ±20% Application Instructions Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are dry, clean, and free from soap residue, grease, or old sealant. Apply Sealant: Insert cartridge into standard sealant gun and apply a continuous bead to the joint. Tooling: Smooth the bead immediately using a wet tool or spatula for best finish. Curing: Avoid contact with water or cleaning agents until the sealant has fully cured. Limitations Not paintable — use in visible areas where final colour is acceptable. Not suitable for natural stone, mirrors, or aquariums — use a neutral cure alternative. Health & Safety Contains acetic acid — use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged skin exposure. Use PPE during application. Refer to the SDS for full guidance.
