This 75cl Allendorf 2023 Red Riesling dry is a surprisingly different wine. It has a subtle aroma of herbs and distinct fruitiness. The taste shows a powerful structure with an elegant acidity and fine phenolic textures. A lot of pressure with a long finish. Aromatic, herbaceous, and intensive, this wine is a real rarity. The grapes were used in different ways of skin contact to extract the special aromas of the Red Riesling from its thick, red skin. The vineyard, in collaboration with the Geisenheim Grape Breeding Institute, began to re-introduce the original form of Riesling in the Rheingau in 2000. The first new Roter Riesling vineyard was planted in 2006, and the first harvest was in 2008. This wine is suitable for both men and women.
