Ras al hanout. Touch of braised fennel. A little different; offbeat in a good way, with weight and warmth to balance the racy, breathless acidity. Finishes golden, fanning out into yellow fruit. This will be a pleasure to drink at every stage of its life. Made from grapes grown in the Kieselberg vineyard, situated on the western brim of Deidesheim, with a south-facing slope towards Leinhöhle. The soil is eroded sandstone, small sandstone gravel, and loam. Harvested selectively at the end of September, the grapes were pressed gently and fermented 50% in traditional oak and 40% in stainless steel.
