Emergency Media Training: How to Face a Reporter
Do you know that the scariest thing for most people in a media interview is a camera? You will be taught the best practices to stay confident and use a teleprompter to read your messages during an interview in front of a camera. On top of this you will be shown how to give a speech using a teleprompter without letting the audience notice it. One must consider four key elements while using a teleprompter. These elements include extremely consistent 'speed' and 'volume' 'not pausing' and 'not moving your head'. Learners will be taught how to identify these elements and fix the related issues to sound more natural and conversational in their interviews. Learners will be taught how to watch the video of their favourite senior politician or a newsreader to learn from them and improve their interview skills. One must not forget that a teleprompter is not a magic wand that one can use in every interview to make it a great success. Learners will acquire knowledge of when and how to employ a teleprompter and for what purpose.Your ultimate goal in any interview is to convey your message and appear confident and natural. We also cover methods to create different soundbites. You will gain knowledge to create a cheat sheet by writing down your key message points and how to use the sheet during or before an interview. The course will show you the barest minimum possible questions to come up with that a reporter can ask to be on the safe side before going for an interview.Body language is an excellent indicator of our emotional condition.
