Do you love the natural environment? Do you want to keep the earth safe? More and more people throughout the world are worried about this problem and the Spanish language allows them to express their concerns. Because of this we made this course to teach you simple words about the world. First we talk about some common vocabulary and phrases used to talk about environmental problems and activism. After that this Spanish class moves on to the first of two grammar topics: noun clauses. You will learn to use noun clauses to say things regular nouns can't do. A noun clause can be used with and without conjunctions with a subjunctive tense and with question words. The second subject is embedded questions. We show you how to ask a question with a statement and how to put a question inside a bigger question. To help you understand better we'll look at how popular questions differ from their integrated versions. You can also use the common phrases we give you to answer embedded questions. Then you will practice listening speaking and writing using what you have learned about the environment noun clauses and embedded questions. This will help you put your new grammar and language skills together. As you learn Spanish make sure you practice more than just simple words. Writing paragraphs is a great way to better organize your thoughts. We've included some writing tips to help you get better at this. You can download the writing tasks in our Resources area to help you feel better about your work. Sign up to use your new Spanish skills in a global conversation!
