700ml. 38%A masterfully matured KorenwijnGrain wine is a craft distillate with a rich history and character. To create this unique drink, it must consist of at least 51% twice-distilled malt wine. We have chosen an extra rich composition of 55% malt wine, in order to achieve a full, layered taste. During the second distillation process, we have refined the malt wine with a carefully composed mixture of herbs, which gives this grain wine its own, distinctive character.A unique maturation in a special barrelOn January 12, 2022, we filled a special American oak barrel with our grain wine. This barrel has an impressive history: it first served for years as a maturation barrel for Oloroso Jerez, then for our own whisky. The multiple use of this barrel creates an unparalleled complexity and depth of flavor a rare technique that produces exceptional results.Exactly three years later, on January 12, 2025, we removed the grain wine from the barrel. After reduction to 38%, filtering, and bottling, the end result was a beautiful limited edition. This exclusive grain wine has a deep red-brownish gold color and a refined taste experience.
