The Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition Ben Nevis 9 Years Old Single Malt Whisky is an intense and characterful Highland whisky that was distilled in the traditional Ben Nevis Distillery in the Scottish West Highlands. This bottling from Signatory Vintage's coveted 100 Proof Edition comes from cask no. 48 and matured for nine years in 1st fill Oloroso sherry butts. This special cask maturation gives the whisky an impressive depth with rich notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate, nuts and fine sherry, while the strong alcohol content of 57.1% vol. perfectly underlines its complexity and structure. This single malt was naturally bottled without chill-filtration and without the addition of colorants, which preserves its authentic character. The combination of strong Highland malt and the aromatic sweetness of the sherry casks creates a full, deep flavor profile - spicy, fruity and pleasantly warming at the same time. Signatory Vintage, one of Scotland's most renowned independent bottlers, once again presents a prime example of hand-picked quality and the art of traditional cask maturation with this edition.
