Felton Road is widely regarded as Central Otago`s finest producer, biodynamically farming three estate vineyards with meticulous attention to detail. Bannockburn Riesling comes from their organically certified vineyards where the continental climate delivers intense flavour concentration with racy acidity. Central Otago produces some of the Southern Hemisphere`s most exciting Riesling, combining New World ripeness with Old World structure. Fresh from the 2024 harvest. Lime juice, green apple and white flowers with slate minerality and citrus zest. Medium bodied with electric acidity and laser-like precision. Bone-dry with intense fruit concentration balanced by that signature Central Otago freshness. There`s purity here showing both the biodynamic farming and cool-climate terroir. Long, mineral-driven finish with lingering citrus. Serve well chilled (6-8°C). Pairs excellently with sushi, oysters, grilled fish, or works as a crisp aperitif. This will age beautifully over 8-10 years, developing toast and honey notes, but it`s captivating right now with all this vibrant energy.
