Der Faiveley Echezeaux Grand Cru 2010 stammt aus einer der legendärsten Lagen des Burgunds und verkörpert die hohe Kunst des Pinot Noir. Das traditionsreiche Weingut Faiveley bewirtschaftet in der Grand Cru Lage Echezeaux, zwischen Vosne-Romanée und Flagey-Echezeaux gelegen, Parzellen auf kalkreichen Böden, die diesem Wein seine unverwechselbare Mineralität und Finesse verleihen. Der Jahrgang 2010 gilt als einer der großen klassischen Jahrgänge Burgunds – kühl, präzise, mit exzellenter Struktur und langem Reifepotenzial.Die Vinifikation erfolgt nach traditioneller burgundischer Methode: Handlese, schonende Pressung, spontane Gärung mit wilden Hefen und Ausbau in französischen Eichenfässern, teilweise neu, teilweise gebraucht. Diese Reifung verleiht dem Faiveley Echezeaux 2010 subtile Röstaromen, ohne die Frucht zu überdecken. Die Balance zwischen Kraft und Eleganz ist meisterhaft.In der Nase entfaltet sich ein komplexes Bouquet aus roten und dunklen Beeren – Kirsche, Brombeere, Himbeere – begleitet von zarten Gewürznoten, Veilchen und einem Hauch von Unterholz.
