These notes reflect the typical character of Domaine Raffaitin‑Planchon Sancerre across recent vintages. Core tasting profile Aromas — lemon zest, grapefruit, white peach, and fresh gooseberry, lifted by a clear flinty note from the limestone soils. Palate — bright acidity, crisp citrus, green apple, and a chalky mineral line that tightens the finish. Texture — light to medium body with a touch of roundness from gentle skin contact during fermentation. Finish — clean, dry, and mineral, often showing a saline snap. Secondary and terroir-driven notes Subtle herbal tones such as nettle or fresh-cut grass. Occasional hints of white flowers and wet stone. A slightly riper fruit core (pear, melon) in warmer vintages, giving a softer mid‑palate.
