This radar level switch (Type 8131) provides continuous non-contact level measurement of liquids and bulk materials up to 20 m range. Because the 80 GHz radar does not touch the medium, it is suitable for aggressive, corrosive, and hygienic liquids where a contact sensor would foul or degrade. This variant has a NPT 1 1/2 process connection in pvdf (polyvinylidene fluoride). Rated for -40 °C to 80 °C and up to 3 bar. IP66/67 protection. HART + Bluetooth communication.
