The Tallin 160 is the compact end of the cube range, and the one that arrives fully specified. Thermowood throughout, a full glass front, and a bronze glass door — none of it optional, none of it an upgrade. At 1.6 m deep it fits a small garden, a courtyard or a side return, and it seats up to three. That specification is worth understanding before you compare it with the larger Tallin 200. The 200 is a bigger room, but its entry price is the spruce build with a solid front and a glazed door. The 160 is thermowood with a full glass wall as standard. You are not paying more for less space; you are paying for the materials and the glazing that the bigger cabin charges extra for. Why thermowood matters Thermowood is timber kiln-treated at 180–220°C in a low-oxygen chamber. That is not a surface coating. It changes the wood itself, closing the cells so it absorbs far less moisture — which is what stops outdoor timber cupping, twisting and splitting through a British winter. No chemical preservatives are involved. It arrives a deep honey-brown and weathers to a stable silver. 42 mm side walls, 28 mm back. Thick walls are where heat retention comes from: a well-insulated 4.9 m³ room reaches temperature quickly and holds it, so a modest heater does the job and running costs stay sensible. Our Harvia Wall is black steel with a full 20 kg stone capacity for softer, steadier löyly, integrated controls and a 2-year warranty. Harvia Wall 4.5 kW Rated 3–6 m³ — the natural match for 4.9 m³, and the choice if your supply is limited. Harvia Wall 6 kW Rated 5–8 m³ — the sensible default for a room with a full glass front, which loses more heat than solid timber. Harvia Wall 8 kW Rated 7–12 m³. More than this room needs, but faster to temperature on cold days. No heater — cabin only Supply-only. Choose this if you already have a heater, or you want something we do not list. Not sure which?
