Steam & Oak Tallin 220 XL Outdoor Cube Sauna — 4–6 Person Thermowood, Full Glass Front - Gas — Aurora 81 with safety pack

Black outside, thermowood inside, and a full glass front across the whole face. The Tallin 220 XL is the one that does not look like a garden sauna — it looks like something an architect specified. Set against planting or a rendered wall, the black shell recedes and the lit interior does the work. Behind the styling it is the widest cube we list at 2.36 m across, giving an 11 m³ room with benches deep enough to lie down on. Four to six people, one level, no compromises on bench width to make the numbers work. Thermowood, and only thermowood This cabin is built in thermowood only — no spruce option — because the specification is fixed at the top of the range. Thermowood is timber kiln-treated at 180–220°C in a low-oxygen chamber. That is not a surface coating. It changes the wood itself, closing the cells so it absorbs far less moisture — which is what stops outdoor timber cupping, twisting and splitting through a British winter. No chemical preservatives are involved. 42 mm side walls, 28 mm back. The thickness matters here more than usual: a full glass front loses heat faster than timber, so the rest of the shell has to hold it. Specification Capacity 4–6 people External size 2310 mm deep × 2360 mm wide × 2200 mm high Sauna room volume approx. 11 m³ Side walls 42 mm thermowood Back wall 28 mm thermowood Front Full glass wall Door Tempered bronze glass, 1890 × 690 mm Benches Thermo-aspen Roof Bitumen shingles — black, red, green or brown Delivery 1 pallet, 235 × 120 × 120 cm What is in the box Everything structural. No hidden extras to buy before you can build it: Thermowood cabin panels, pre-cut and numbered Thermo-aspen benches Full glass front wall and tempered bronze glass door Bitumen roof shingles and fascia boards Floor and foundation cradles Heater guard Stainless steel bands and complete fixing kit Ventilation grids Step-by-step assembly instructions Run it on gas — no electrician, no cable across the garden This is the option almost nobody else offers, and for a lot of gardens it is the one that makes a sauna possible at all. A FinSteam gas heater runs on a standard propane bottle — the same sort you would use for a patio heater or a barbecue. No armoured cable, no trench across the lawn, no electrician quote you had not budgeted for. If your garden has no power at the far end, this is how you still get a sauna there. Pick a gas option above and we fit the flue and commission the heater on installation day. You do not need to arrange anything with anyone. Which gas option? Botnia 81 Our standard 8.1 kW gas heater. Everything you need to run the sauna. Aurora 81 The premium version of the same 8.1 kW heater — better finish and detailing. And then: safety pack, or without? With safety packrecommended Adds the Njord heat shield and the Halo guard rail. The heat shield lets the heater sit closer to the timber wall; the guard rail stops anyone brushing against the hot stones. If you have children, guests, or you are renting the sauna out, choose this one. Without safety pack Heater and stone cage only. Suits a private install where clearance is not tight. Every gas option includes the heater, the Orbis stone cage, and our fitting and commissioning. See the full gas heater range → Or choose an electric heater The Tallin 220 XL takes a wall-mounted heater, which keeps the full bench width usable. Our Harvia Wall is black steel with a full 20 kg stone capacity for softer, steadier löyly, integrated controls and a 2-year warranty — and black steel suits this cabin. Harvia Wall 8 kW Rated 7–12 m³ — the right match for 11 m³ with a full glass front. Harvia Wall 6 kW Rated 5–8 m³. Under-specified here, particularly with this much glass. We do not recommend it. No heater — cabin only Supply-only. Choose this if you already have a heater, or you want something we do not list. A note on the glass. A full glass front is the reason to buy this cabin, and it is also the reason to specify the heater properly. Glass loses heat faster than 42 mm timber. If you plan on winter use or an exposed garden, tell us and we will size it accordingly rather than defaulting to the listed option. All electric heaters must be installed and connected by a qualified electrician. We confirm the exact supply requirement with you before installation. Prefer a different heater — HUUM, a WiFi-controlled model, or a wood-burning stove? Choose cabin only and talk to us; we can supply and fit most makes. 2-year warranty The Tallin 220 XL carries a 2-year warranty on the cabin structure, and the heaters carry their own manufacturer warranty. Thermowood is stable and rot-resistant by nature, but like any outdoor timber it lasts longest if you treat the exterior and keep it treated. The black finish in particular repays maintenance. We will tell you exactly what to use and when. Lead time — please ask before you order Lead time depends on stock and specification, and it moves. Depending on what is already built and how the factories are
