The waterproof layer helps separate your shelter from damp, dirty ground while adding an extra barrier against everyday abrasion. After camping on grass, forest floors, or damp campsites, more mud, leaves, and moisture stay on the groundsheet, meaning less tent-floor cleanup when it is time to pack up—especially useful for weekend camping, backpacking, and trips with frequent campsite changes. The collection includes multiple shapes and sizes designed around different Traverseon tent footprints, with options for single-person bivy shelters, 1–2 person backpacking tents, 1–3 person hot tents, and larger family tents. This gives you a more straightforward fit than repeatedly folding and repositioning an oversized universal tarp. The compatible 1–3 Person Hot Tent also offers both a Pentagon Sleeping Area Fit and an Octagon Full Tent Coverage option, so you can choose focused sleeping-area protection or broader floor coverage. For the confirmed AeroDuo 2P option, the groundsheet measures approximately 220 cm long × 150 cm at its widest × 90 cm at each end (86.6 × 59.1 × 35.4 in), with a 22 × 10 cm (8.7 × 3.9 in) stuff sack. Other sizes and shapes vary with the matching tent. The collection includes options made to fit 4-season and all-season Traverseon tents, with currently shown colors including black, dark gray, and blue, depending on the selected groundsheet style.
