View From Kyle Of Lochalsh Road original drawing
Materials: illustration board, Artists' quality, colour pencils "Polychromos" by Faber-Castell, Derwent Lightfast Pencils, varnish for drawings by Winsor & Newton. Style: Realism influenced by Impressionism. Size: 35 x 25 x 0.2 cm; the artwork itself is 32.5 x 22.8 cm; this leads to a clean margin around the image as a preparation for a mounting mat.. This artwork is not framed.. The second image only shows an example of how the drawing may look in a frame and on a wall.. View From Kyle of Lochalsh Road, Highlands, Scotland, is an original drawing.. I have always been captivated by the beauty of the Scottish Highlands. The rolling hills, towering mountains, and shimmering lochs were my places of longing and yearning, and I cherished every moment spent in their midst.. Along the winding roads that snaked through the countryside, I often took long walks, taking in the stunning views surrounding me. One of my favourite spots is a viewpoint close to Kyle of Lochalsh, where the visitor can see for miles across the shimmering waters of the loch.. As a creative person, I always loved capturing the landscape's beauty in my artworks, spending hours drawing and painting the rolling hills, the towering mountains, and the shimmering waters of the lochs. My favourite piece is a drawing I created of the view from the road close to Kyle of Lochalsh. It is a stunning work of art, capturing the calm and tranquil beauty of the landscape in exquisite detail.. The sky is calm and bright, and on the horizon, the landscape is vanishing in a fading mist. In front, you see two islands, and to the left and below, lots of fresh green May vegetation, trees and bushes mixed with blossoming rhododendrons.. The waters of the loch reflect the calm sky in barely recognisable pinks and turquoise. The translucent water slightly exposes the shallow seabed in the lower right corner.. From that moment on, I continue to create artworks that celebrate the stunning landscape of the Scottish Highlands. And although I don't live in Scotland, I always feel a deep connection to the rugged beauty of this country.
