Bella Modella Pinot Grigio is a thoroughly contemporary Italian white from the Abruzzo region, crafted at the foot of the Maiella massif in the northern part of Chieti province. Beautifully fresh, crisp, and fruit-filled, this is modern Italian Pinot Grigio at an exceptional everyday price.. Why You'll Love It. Bella Modella is a contemporary winery with a clear philosophy: fine yet affordable wines that capture the best of Italian style. Their Pinot Grigio is light, zesty, and incredibly easy to drink, making it the perfect everyday white for aperitifs, casual dining, or simply enjoying on a warm afternoon. Clean, modern, and consistently delicious.. Vineyard and Production. The vineyards lie in the northern part of Chieti province in Abruzzo, at the foot of the Maiella massif. Soils are predominantly clay, and the area benefits from annual rainfall of 700 to 900mm. A warm climate combined with strong day to night temperature variation and frequent breezes creates ideal conditions for healthy, flavourful grapes with balanced acidity. Grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed to preserve purity and freshness. Fermentation with selected yeasts takes place at cool, controlled temperatures below 20 degrees Celsius in stainless steel tanks to retain vibrant fruit character. The wine is cold-stabilised and carefully bottled to maintain its crisp, clean profile.. Tasting Notes. Light and vibrant in the glass, Bella Modella Pinot Grigio opens with zesty citrus and crisp green apple aromas. The palate is refreshing and delicately textured, with a clean, modern character and easy drinkability that makes it genuinely hard to put down.. Perfect Pairings.
