Designated under the Côtes de Gascogne appellation, this easy-drinking bottling showcases the local charm of traditional Gascon grape varieties. Crafted by Boutinot, it combines vibrant regional character with a soft, accessible balance that makes for an effortlessly enjoyable pour.. Why You'll Love It. This wine stands out for its fragrant aromatic lift, rounded palate, and uncomplicated charm. Sourced from the rolling hills of Gascony, it benefits from protective cold-winemaking techniques that lock in crisp fruit freshness. With just two grams per litre more residual sugar than its bone-dry counterpart, it offers a slightly softer, more rounded mouthfeel that beautifully balances bright green fruit with gentle sweetness.. Vineyard & Production. The grapes are cultivated on the rolling hillsides of Gascony, where vines are trained using the traditional Guyot system. Vigorous grape selection ensures only the finest fruit is harvested to capture maximum aromatic intensity. Upon arrival at the cellar, the grapes are cooled with carbon dioxide and undergo skin maceration for 6 to 15 hours, followed by gentle pneumatic pressing and cold settling. Fermentation is initiated with cultured yeasts, and the wine rests on its fine lees after completion to preserve maximum freshness.. Tasting Notes. In the glass, it presents a pale, bright straw colour. The nose is wonderfully fresh and fragrant, bursting with inviting aromas of green orchard fruit and subtle floral highlights. On the palate, it is smooth, supple, and well balanced, delivering juicy ripe apple and pear flavours supported by clean acidity and a touch of off-dry roundness that leads into a lasting, satisfying finish.. Perfect Pairings. With its gentle sweetness and easy-drinking nature, this medium-dry white is a delightful casual quaffer.
