Greywacke Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc One of New Zealand's most respected Sauvignon Blancs, Greywacke was founded in 2009 by Kevin Judd, the founding winemaker and long-time driving force behind Cloudy Bay. His vision was to create a more textured, complex and nuanced expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc while retaining the region's hallmark purity and freshness. Producer Kevin Judd spent 25 vintages as chief winemaker at Cloudy Bay and played a major role in establishing Marlborough's global reputation for Sauvignon Blanc. The Greywacke label takes its name from the greywacke river stones found throughout Marlborough's vineyard soils.
