Micro Dynamics DRL3 Digital Rev Limiter – Single Coil, Full-Throttle Change
What it isThe DRL3 is a Micro Dynamics digital rev limiter for single ignition systems. A rev limiter works on the ignition to stop the engine exceeding a set speed, protecting it from over-revving damage on missed gear changes or over-enthusiastic driving. This version adds a full-throttle change function, which lets the driver change gear with the throttle held open while the limiter manages engine speed.Micro Dynamics make engine electronics for motorsport and performance use, including rev limiters, shift lights, speed shift units and related accessories. Before you orderChoose the version to suit your ignition: this unit is for single systems.Other versions in the range: DRL1 single coil, DRL2 twin coil, DRL4 twin coil with full-throttle change. The RS1 rapid start switch is available for the DRL3 and DRL4.Check your earth polarity and that your system is 12V.FittingFit in line with the instructions supplied with the product. If you are not confident working on vehicle wiring, have it installed by a competent auto electrician or classic car specialist. Not sure which unit you need? Contact us with your vehicle, engine and ignition set-up and we will check it for you.
