Title: Greystone Vineyard Ferment Pinot Noir, Waipara | Red Wine | 75cl | United Kingdom Brand: Winebuyers Established in 2004, Greystone draws its name from the unique limestone clay hills in Waipara Valley, North Canterbury. With a commitment to making exceptional wines from its terroir, Greystone has managed its 33-hectare vineyard organically since 2014. The winery has twice received Decanter trophies for Best Pinot Noir and was ranked as the Top New Zealand Chardonnay in 2018. More recently, Greystone was named Raymond Chan's 2018 Winery of the Year, and winemaker, Dom Maxwell, was named 2018 New Zealand Winemaker of the Year by Gourmet Traveller Wine. This Pinot Noir is fermented in the vineyard to capture wild yeasts and the influence of the seasons weather. Complex and earthy, it showcases minerality, spice, and subtle wild berries on the nose. Textural with finely-integrated fruit tannins, this wine offers flow, harmony, and wonderful length.
