"From their lower vineyards (roughly 1.5 ha of their total of 8 ha).Refreshing and textured and herbal – an aperitif/G&T substitute." Tasted by Tamlyn Currin, wine writer for Jancis Robinson Knebel's signature Riesling - elegant and hearty. Classed as a VDP. GUTSWINES, it is an entry-level Riesling in the origin-based quality hierarchy of prestigious VDP member wineries. This wine comes from the Knebel estate's own vineyards and complies with strict VDP criteria. Grapes were grown in vineyards located in the lower slopes of Winningen. They were grown sustainable and carefully harvested by hand. The wine was fermented using natural yeast and had long contact on the lees. Alcohol: 11,5% vol. Res. sugar: 3,8 g/l Acidity: 6,4 g/l
