Die Domaine Georges Noellat zählt zu den stillen Legenden im Herzen der Côte de Nuits. In Vosne Romanée gelegen, einer der ehrwürdigsten Gemeinden der Weine aus Burgund, bewirtschaftet das Weingut Parzellen, die über Generationen gewachsen sind. Der Jahrgang 2022 zeigt sich als Ausdruck dieser gewachsenen Beziehung zwischen Reblage und Winzerhand – konzentriert, aber nie schwer.Im Keller arbeitet man mit ganzer Trauben-Vergärung und wenig Eingriff, um dem Terroir Raum zu geben. Der Ausbau erfolgt in französischer Eiche, dosiert und zurückhaltend, sodass das Holz die Frucht begleitet statt sie zu überdecken. Diese Zurückhaltung ist die Signatur der Domaine – Pinot Noir, der spricht, ohne zu schreien.In der Nase entfaltet sich ein Spiel aus roten Kirschen, Waldbeeren und einem Hauch von Unterholz, unterlegt von feinen floralen Nuancen. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Wein seidig und dicht zugleich, mit präsenter, aber reifer Tannin-Struktur und einer Säure, die Spannung und Frische verleiht.
