Producer DetailsCampogiovanni is part of a renowned Tuscan estate covering 180 hectares in Castelnuovo Berardenga, adjacent to its sister property Villa la Pagliaia. Under the guidance of winemaker Leonardo Bellacini, the estate follows a minimal-intervention philosophy, producing classic expressions of high-quality Sangiovese. The wines are elegant, complex and balanced, crafted from carefully selected clones and exceptional vineyards. A focus on authenticity means no heavy new oak, Cabernet influence or overly modern winemaking — just pure, traditional Brunello.. In the VineyardCampogiovanni’s 12-hectare vineyards are located on the south-facing slopes of Montalcino, an area known for its ideal combination of soils and microclimate. This terroir ensures optimal ripening of the Sangiovese grapes, resulting in depth, structure and finesse.. In the WineryHarvest takes place in late September. Grapes undergo a 20-day maceration at 28–30°C, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel.
