Low Modulus Neutral Cure Silicone Sealant for Construction & Glazing Soudal Silirub LMN is a premium-quality, low modulus, neutral curing silicone sealant formulated for long-lasting, flexible sealing in a variety of construction and glazing applications. With excellent adhesion to most porous and non-porous substrates, it is ideal for perimeter sealing of window and door frames, expansion joints, curtain walls, and cladding elements. Key Features & Benefits Low Modulus: Highly elastic with excellent movement accommodation, ideal for expansion and connection joints. Neutral Cure: Non-corrosive to sensitive materials such as metal, natural stone, and mirror coatings. Weather Resistant: UV and rain resistant for durable indoor and outdoor sealing. Excellent Adhesion: Bonds to most building materials including PVC, aluminium, wood, glass, and masonry without primer. Mould Resistant: Contains fungicide for use in sanitary areas such as kitchens and bathrooms. Product Details Type: Low modulus neutral silicone Colour: Available in white, clear, grey, and other colours Packaging: 300ml cartridge Skin Time: Approx. 10–20 minutes Curing Rate: 2–3mm per 24 hours Application Instructions Surface Prep: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease and dust. Apply Sealant: Cut nozzle to required bead size and apply with a caulking gun. Tooling: Smooth sealant with a wet spatula within 10 minutes of application. Curing: Protect from moisture and disturbance for at least 24 hours. Limitations Not suitable for continuous water immersion or aquariums. Always test on natural stone to prevent staining. Health & Safety Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid skin and eye contact. Wear suitable protective equipment. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed information.
