Fire-Retardant PU Foam for Professional Sealing and Insulating Soudal Trade B2 Expanding Foam Gun Grade is a one-component, self-expanding polyurethane foam specially formulated to meet B2 fire classification. It is designed for application with a foam gun, offering superior control and precision. Ideal for sealing, filling, and insulating gaps, joints, and cavities in construction and installation projects where fire retardancy is important. Key Features & Benefits Fire Retardant: Complies with DIN 4102 B2 classification for fire resistance in building materials. Gun Grade Precision: Applied with a foam gun for clean, accurate dispensing and minimal waste. High Yield: Expands to fill large gaps and voids with excellent volume efficiency. Thermal & Acoustic Insulation: Reduces sound transmission and heat loss through joints and cavities. Strong Adhesion: Bonds to most construction materials including concrete, brick, wood, metal, and plastics (except PE, PP, PTFE). Product Details Type: One-component polyurethane foam Fire Classification: B2 (DIN 4102-1) Application: Gun-applied for professional use Colour: Light yellow Packaging: 750ml pressurised aerosol can Skin Time: Approx. 10 minutes Cutting Time: 30–45 minutes Full Cure: 12–24 hours depending on conditions Application Instructions Preparation: Shake can thoroughly. Dampen surfaces for improved adhesion and curing. Application: Attach can to foam gun and apply foam in controlled beads or layers. Finishing: Allow foam to expand and cure. Trim excess once hardened and protect from UV exposure. Limitations Not UV stable — protect from direct sunlight post-application. Not suitable for structural joints or areas requiring higher fire classifications (e.g., B1). Health & Safety Pressurised container. Use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid inhalation and contact with skin or eyes. Wear appropriate PPE and refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for full guidance.
